This list includes titles of books, book chapters, or articles on humanism. Most of the philosophy that falls under realism or naturalism can also be classified as humanism, which would amount to an enormous body of material. Therefore, it suffices here to mention some works that deal specifically with ethical humanism (by name). (See the definition on the page About Humanism.)
Many books about atheism also discuss humanist ideas in part, but this list is limited to works in which the ethics of humanism is a prominent element or is treated in substantial detail.
